1. Overview

PurrFresh Daily Cat Photos FREE ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that displays unique cat photos fetched from The Cat API. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension stores, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any server we operate.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• NO  Name, email, or any personally identifiable information
• NO  Browsing history or websites visited
• NO  Analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting
• NO  Advertising networks or data selling
• NO  Transmission of any data to our own servers (we have none)

4. Third-Party Services

The Cat API (api.thecatapi.com)
Used to fetch cat photos. Your IP address is transmitted as part of standard HTTP requests. If you enter an optional API key in Settings, that key is included as a request header. We receive only random cat image URLs and metadata. No personal data is sent. Their privacy policy: thecatapi.com/privacy

ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com)
Used to process payments for premium subscription tiers. We never see or store your payment card details — ExtensionPay handles all payment processing independently. We receive only a boolean paid/unpaid status and your chosen plan name, used solely to unlock premium features. Their privacy policy: extensionpay.com/privacy

5. Permissions Justification

6. Children's Privacy

PurrFresh is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

7. Data Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time:

• Reset seen list: Settings tab → "Reset Seen List"
• Clear favorites: Settings tab → "Clear Favorites"
• Full removal: Uninstalling the Extension from Chrome removes all locally stored data automatically

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this document will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
