FridgeGenius AI collects no personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect or store the ingredients you enter.
• We do not collect browsing history, location, or device identifiers.
• We do not use analytics or tracking software.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

2. Local Storage Only

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser only using chrome.storage.local:

• Your saved recipes (stored on your device, never uploaded)
• Daily recipe usage count (for free tier limits)
• Your plan/subscription status (from ExtensionPay)
• UI preferences (e.g. privacy banner dismissed)

All local data stays on your device and can be cleared via Chrome's extension data management.

3. Payment Processing

Paid subscriptions are processed securely by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com). When you upgrade, you interact directly with ExtensionPay's secure payment interface. FridgeGenius AI does not handle or store your payment card information.

4. On-Device AI Processing

Recipe generation is performed using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano language model, which runs entirely on your device. Your ingredient inputs are processed locally and are never sent to Google, Anthropic, or any external server.

5. Permissions Used

• storage: To save your recipes and preferences locally on your device.
• clipboardWrite: To let you copy recipes and grocery lists to your clipboard.

6. Children's Privacy

FridgeGenius AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance. The updated date above reflects the latest version.
